My Start
I have been involved with horses for over 20 years.  I have always loved horses as long as I
can remember.

I started riding at Hob Nob Hill in Easton while I was in high school training under Jan
Thomas.  I rode there for a few months starting with english then going to western.  After I
graduated from Easton High School in 1984 I started riding at Hope Lock Farm in Easton.  I
trained under Gayle Matson-Kozak polishing my riding skills in english, western and
showmanship.

I leased a quarter horse mare from Gayle, her name was Miss Mar Lark a.k.a. Sara.  I showed
the Penn Jersey Show circuit with her.  I showed other horses in Penn Jersey after Sara
getting year end awards in numerous events.  I eventually bought Sara from Gayle in 1988.  I
planned to breed her to an appaloosa stallion named S. Bandit's Image.  In 1991 a chestnut
colt was born and he was named Ima Lark's Bandit a.k.a. Taz.  I also trained under Lisa Mann
of Locust Valley Farm in Northampton.  Lisa helped me in achieving my goals with Taz.   In
2000 he received his ApHC Versatility Championship in the following events:  Hunter In Hand,
Barrels, Poles, Keyhole and Driving.

Everything I have and that I am doing  today I thank the Lord.
